Tina and John

Tina Wilson, Executive Director
I have always had a passion for art.  My whole life there has always been some sort of project going on.  That same passion exists for helping children.  Through the years I have volunteered for a local DFCS yearly Secret Santa gift collection.  I have helped out behind the scenes with administrative work and also coordinated a gift collection at my office for many years.  When I found KidzArt, I knew it was my calling to combine my two passions.  I am dedicated to providing quality art education in my community.

 Meet our KidzArt instructors!

Destiny Bramlett  Destiny

Destiny graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2009 with a BFA in graphic design. She has been doing art ever since she could remember and that is why she wanted to be a KidzArt instructor. Art has played such a huge role in shaping the person she has become that she wanted to be able to help kids realize and exercise their own artistic talents.

Andrea Dowis Andrea

Andrea Dowis is a student at Kennesaw State University. She is working toward her B.F.A., with a double concentration in Graphic Communication and Sculpture. She has a passion for expressing visually what cannot be said in words. This will be Ms. Andrea's second year with KidzArt, and she is so thrilled to be a part of the program. She absolutely loves teaching art and is looking forward to another great year.

Rebecca Beaver Rebecca

My name is Rebecca Beaver. I am a student at Kennesaw State University, majoring in Art Education. I have always had an interest in art; I took art classes every semester in high school, but when I first started college I was leaning towards Early Childhood Education. All it took was one assistant opportunity in an elementary art class to make me switch gears towards Art Education. I am teaching KidzArt because it is great experience for my future career as an art teacher.
